        On June 9th 2009, before the Only Watch auction, the two timepieces that might as well be called jewelries, were put up for sale in the most exclusive way, in a stylish, fancy boutique located on rue Saint-Honoré in Paris.

        The day of the release, the 9th of June, came soon after the meeting between French President Nicolas Sarkozy and U.S. President Barack Obama, meeting that was meant to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the D-Day Invasion by Allied forces in Normandy.
